Duties and Responsibilities |
Reporting to the Senior Director of Donor Relations and Stewardship, the Stewardship Coordinator supports the Donor Relations and Stewardship Team within the Advancement Division. The Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the internal and external administrative activities This Position supports a variety of activities under the scope of the Donor Relations and Stewardship Team including coordinating Donor communications and other projects to support the goals of the Department.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares reports, drafts, and coordinates the production of personalized Gift acknowledgments and tracks relevant data within existing Advancement CRM.
- Provides support for Donor Services-related activities such as receipts, problem-solving, and Gift research
- Coordinates holiday-focused engagement with Donor groups through Thanksgiving and Christmas mailings and Gifts.
- Prepares reports, drafts, and coordinates the production of Tribute notifications and Pledge reminders to Donors and tracks relevant data within existing Advancement CRM.
- Ensures the timely execution of Condolence notes and related touchpoints.
- Builds strong and effective relationships with individuals and Departments throughout the Loyola community that provide or benefit from information used in Donor Relations efforts (e.g., Finance, University Faculty, University Marketing & Communications).
- Provides administrative support to other Team members in achieving the strategic goals of the Office of Donor Relations & Stewardship.
- Manages the Donor relations phone line and inbox in a timely and efficient manner with professionalism.
- Performs other related duties and special projects as required.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience |
Bachelor's Degree supplemented with two years' experience working in a fund-raising or nonprofit environment required, with a significant period of time spent executing Stewardship activities strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Donor Relations, Relationship Management or Communications. |
Qualifications |
- Significant period of time spent executing Stewardship activities strongly preferred.
- Some familiarity with Salesforce Ascend, or equivalent CRM Donor Database Systems is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and Project Management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written Communication and Proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail for communications and complex processes
- Strong commitment to Customer Service.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and tact.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new Programs in an emerging and changing environment.
- Able to work independently.
- Adept at navigating email, Internet, teleconferencing, electronic filing, and Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint/Excel/Teams/SharePoint).
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
