You will play a pivotal role in migrating and enhancing a key dashboard, empowering stakeholders with critical insights and driving data-informed decision-making. As the Power BI Specialist, you will be responsible for: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand current reporting needs and future requirements for enhanced data visualization.
Migrating an existing Excel dashboard to Power BI, optimizing its usability and functionality.
Connecting Power BI to various data sources, ensuring data integrity and efficient data loading.
Designing and developing interactive and user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
Implementing data visualization best practices to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Rigorously testing and validating the accuracy of data and calculations within the Power BI solution.
Providing clear documentation of data sources, data models, DAX calculations, and dashboard logic. Must-Have Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects.
Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including advanced DAX and Power Query (M language) skills.
Deep understanding of data modeling principles for Power BI (star schema, snowflake schema).
Proven experience migrating reports from other platforms (e.g., Excel) to Power BI.
Exceptional understanding of data visualization best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $74.90 per hour.
Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
