Job Description Summary:

Assess the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of programs and initiatives, gathers data, conducts evaluations, and provides recommendations for improvement. Provides mentoring and leadership to staff by providing recommendations, input and feedback, assisting with resource planning.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and maintains data, tools, and evaluation plans. Analyzes program data to identify trends and patterns. Analyzes complex data sets and provides insights to support programmatic decision making. Ensures data accuracy and integrity in data support tools.
  • Develops evaluation methodologies and data collection processes. Identifies benchmarks for closing population health gaps and disparities. Creates qualitative and quantitative program evaluation methods and data collection tools.
  • Prepares reports and presentations on evaluation findings. Communicates project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather feedback and input. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities.
  • Recommends improvements based on evaluation results. Collaborates to develop evaluation strategy that aligns with department goals.
  • Ensures compliance with evaluation standards and guidelines. Conducts research and stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree, required.
  • Master's Degree, preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong skills in data management systems. Extensive spreadsheet, database, and presentation graphics knowledge, required.
  • Skills in relational database management and reporting software tools (REDCap, SPSS, MS Excel, etc), required.
  • Analytical skills to assemble, evaluate, and understand large and complex information, and to identify current and future trends. Skills related to research, program evaluation methods, and data collection and analysis, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with external contacts, administrators, medical staff, and employees at all levels. Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Strong project management skills, required. Self- directed and able to manage multiple priorities.

Experience:

  • Three years of data reporting experience in a health care environment, required.
  • Experience with working with community partners, required.
  • Experience in population health, preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, preferred.
  • Experience using program evaluation methodologies, preferred.
