Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join the HCM Strategy team as an Associate in Project Management. The HCM Strategy team manages transformational initiatives - enhancing our employee experience, driving quantifiable automation benefits, and promoting resiliency - to serve our stakeholders within HCM and across the firm. Your role as an Associate within this team requires exceptional organizational skills and strategic thinking. The candidate must be able to manage projects from initiation to completion, with a strong focus on incorporating change management aspects throughout the implementation of new projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery and change management.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:



  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope, ensuring deliverables align with project objectives and client expectations.
  • Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to optimize project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project performance against key metrics.


Change Management:



  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of project deliverables.
  • Communicate change impacts to stakeholders and provide support during transitions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management initiatives, adjusting as needed.


Risk Management:



  • Identify and analyze project risks, developing mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
  • Implement preventative measures to ensure project success and minimize disruptions.


Stakeholder Management:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met throughout the project lifecycle.


Resource Management:



  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as necessary to optimize efficiency.


Quality Assurance:



  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Implement quality control processes to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management and change management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, user experience, user research, HR, recruiting, and/or customer support.
