WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: This position will codify nVent's operating model and business reviews by supporting process owners to achieve targeted outcomes and driving business-critical assignments with long-term implications, focusing on end to end business processes. It will broaden nVent's lean transformation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and support all business functions to simplify and enhance processes for greater efficiency and impact directly tied to business priorities and results.
Recognize Lean as a system and transform the business through Kaizen. Provide leadership with a thorough and solid understanding of the principles of lean. Lead segment-level lean transformation projects, emphasizing principle-based systems, lean competencies, and advancing lean maturity. Work cross-functionally to develop leaders and fuel business success by improving Lean capability across the assigned business segment or functions. GrownVent leadership to identify priorities for capability buildingin Lean methodologies or equivalent experience. Handle portfolio of assigned projects as well as be responsible for the Lean performance tracking and reporting. (SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau, Teams). Coordinate benchmarking and external analysis (Subject Matter Experts, Workshops, company visits, etc.). Identify and share standard methodologies and external trends, through chairing Lean Transactional and Office Councils.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. 5+ years of experience driving business process improvement initiatives, with a strong emphasis on applying Lean principles in non-manufacturing environments. Practical experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts is a plus. Knowledge with confirmed skills in using and instructing Lean concepts. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP and other relevant application software. Analytical skills and business financial knowledge a plus. Systems thinker and project leadership experience (full cycle process/project management, planning and change management).

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $105,000.00 - $195,000.00
