Department Secretary (Pre-Visit Planning)

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Gundersen Health System is seeking a motivated and flexible individual with a strong customer service and healthcare background to join our team as a Department Secretary! This position is mainly responsible for pre-visit planning and gathering and organizing medical records for providers, as well as providing and coordinating basic office and organizational responsibilities necessary for the operation and support of the medical staff/providers and department. The secretary works as part of a team and frequently acts as a liaison between department staff and internal/external customers. What's Available:

• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Shift: Monday-Friday, Days (no weekends)
• Hours: 8 hour shift between 7 am and 5 pm
• Department: Cardiology La Crosse, On-site position
• Pre-visit planning and organizing medical records before appointments, talking on the phone with patients, and working closely with a team.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
• Office/clerical background
• Preferred: 1-2 years of healthcare and secretarial experience
