DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be the lead IT Asset Manager for all IT devices within the Infrastructure and Economic Delivery Center, which includes Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA), and the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). As the central authority for asset management, you will oversee the complete lifecycle management of IT assets across the organization. This role ensures accurate tracking, compliance, and lifecycle management of technology assets in the Delivery Center. You will have the opportunity to work closely with agency stakeholders to apply asset management best practices, ensure policy compliance, and support mission critical services through strong asset governance. You will serve as a trusted advisor, compliance enforcer, and process coach as you generate daily reports, identify and resolve data discrepancies, coordinate clean-up efforts, and guide technical teams to maintain a single, accurate source of truth for all technology assets.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Generalist 2, Applications Developer 2, Database Analyst, Information Security Specialist 1, or Network Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or
- One year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires:
- Two or more years of full-time professional experience utilizing IT Service Management platforms such as BMC Remedy or Service Now
- Two or more years of full-time professional IT experience in lifecycle management, inventory control, asset tracking, reporting, and auditing

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
