Aerospace Technology Portfolio Leader, Vice President

The Opportunity:

As the Tech Advancement Portfolio Lead, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution across critical elements of the Air Force (AF) account. In this executive role, you will lead capture, management and execution of initiatives to design, modernize and sustain systems, digitize operations to enhance mission effectiveness, increase efficiencies for customers, build strategic partnerships, and integrate new solutions and products from across the account and company.You will lead staff performing engineering, mission design, cyber, modeling or simulation and other customer-required capabilities. You will collaborate across AF geographies, subaccounts, and sectors to ensure alignment of capability and business goals, fostering innovation, commercial-first thinking and outcome-based delivery throughout the portfolio and organization. You will do all this from multiple geographic sites aligned to customer organizations and locations.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Lead the Portfolio Team of Directors, Seniors and staff in implementation of a comprehensive transformation strategy that brings air power technology to priority Air Force missions.

  • Achieve portfolio goals across all business and staff metrics.

  • Oversee development and integration of emerging technologies and partnerships across the Air Power and Accelerated Readiness portfolio resulting in solution design, prototyping, and system delivery.

  • Oversee and lead your portfolio strategy to convert to outcome-based contracts, including establishing additional CSO, OT, and alternative 'outcome' based contracts.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in leadership roles in the defense industry managing large and complex programs

  • Experience leading large, technical teams

  • Experience with Special Access programs

  • Experience with delivering executive leadership and oversight for DoD and Air Force systems or services programs and organizations

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, AF or DoD priorities and systems

  • Ability to influence, inspire, and drive change in complex environments, across multiple geographies

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Possession of excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Possession of exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $215,000 to $385,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
