Overview

The Metronome Spatial Solutions Division has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to support NGA's Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) mission. This role focuses on enabling sciences, technology, and tradecraft to measure and model the globe, providing three-dimensional accuracy of every point in, on, or above the Earth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Code, develop, integrate, and debug software artifacts.

  • Write validation tests against existing baselines to ensure code integrity.

  • Assist with unit testing, programming, and development in .NET.

  • Support Agile development efforts within software sustainment methodologies.

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility post-hire.

  • Proficient in software development or integration projects in service-oriented environments (Cloud, SOA, Web Services).

  • Strong organizational skills: able to prioritize, plan, and follow tasks through to completion with attention to detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft .NET ecosystem tools (VB.NET, C#, C++, Visual Studio, WPF).

  • Experience working with large code bases and writing testable software.

  • GIS experience.

  • Database knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL).

  • Familiarity with Git/GitLab or other source code control tools.

  • Familiarity with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).

  • Prior NGA customer support experience.

  • Proficiency in AWS/Cloud technologies.

  • Microsoft certifications.
