Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with various internal Customers, Superintendents, Construction Supervisors, Engineers and other AIC personnel to coordinate construction work and/or resolve complaints.
  • Identify & act to halt and/or eliminate unsafe acts in the workplace.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all parties regarding contractor job scheduling.
  • At times to assign and/or direct employees regarding their work assignment.
  • Manage contractor employees for the leak survey program and the painting program.
  • Create purchase order requisitions and approve contractor invoices.
  • Monitor daily compliance reports and track compliance dates to ensure compliance.
  • Assign, schedule & track construction work, compliance work and gas leak survey work performed by contractors.
  • Efficient utilization of company resources and assets.
  • Review of project folders to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct (lead) training for contractors and for work groups within Construction Services.
  • Coordinate and track projects completed by outside contractors; interface with Resources Management.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual Construction Services goals and execution of the business plan.
  • Storm support required during storm restoration efforts.
  • Support Director/function by assisting with scheduling logistics, meeting preparation, communication tracking, and general project awareness.

Must possess, or have available, a motor vehicle for use on the job.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Two or more years of relevant experience in vegetation, electric or gas operations required. Experience may be reduced for candidates with a Bachelor Degree in a preferred field.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Basic computer proficiency; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Proficiency with specific Ameren systems (e.g. ORACLE, TRIS, DOJM, EMPRV, GCAM/MAXIMO, CDIS, EADMS, ROD, ArcGIS, Clearion) preferred; and the following Ameren competencies: Think Customer, Inspire and Engage, Foster Innovation, Drive Results, Champion Learning, Build Trust, and Be Strategic.

Additional Information

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$69,300.00 - $107,400.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
