Job Title: Customer Care Associate
Job Description This onsite position assists the Customer Service and Sales/Account Management teams with an important seasonal project. You will be engaging with customers who recently signed up for a Medicare Advantage insurance plan, responding to their inquiries following an automated welcome message. Utilizing a call script, you will represent the organization, share available tools and resources, and, if necessary, coordinate a follow-up call with an experienced team member to address any plan-related questions. Your duties will include documenting notes and updating member information during and after each call. Adhering to performance guidelines and scheduling is crucial as we strive to provide excellent service levels. Responsibilities * Engage with customers who signed up for Medicare Advantage insurance plans. * Respond to inquiries using a call script. * Represent the organization, sharing tools and resources available to members. * Coordinate follow-up calls with experienced team members for further assistance. * Document notes and update member information during and after calls. * Adhere to performance guidelines and scheduling to ensure excellent service levels. Essential Skills * High comfort level with receiving/making calls and following a call script. * Previous experience in contact/call center, customer service, health insurance, Medicare Advantage, or medical office. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in digital literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, and using multiple software applications simultaneously. * Strong general computer skills, including internet/intranet navigation. * Effective problem-solving and basic math skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in marketing, sales, prospecting, cold calling, and insurance. * Help desk support and customer support experience. Why Work Here? Post-training, work hours will be within Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime. The environment is collaborative and supportive, focusing on teamwork and excellent customer service. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Meridian, Idaho. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
