Overview

Accounts Payable Associates are responsible for statement reconciliation from multiple vendors on a monthly basis. Requesting and entering all missing invoices timely and accurately. Communicating with vendors about GPM policy and replying to vendor inquiries. They work with the Accounts Payable Manager and assist in month-end closing.

Pay:$22.00/hr based on experience and skill level



Responsibilities

    Reconciliations (bank, ledger, and statements)
  • Review and validate invoices
  • Monitors accounts payable to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate and complete transaction records ensuring adherence to internal control
    requirements and SOX narratives.
  • Analyze financial data and use independent judgment for purposes of identifying variances, when
    possible resolving accounting operating system issues, compiling statistical information and developing procedures to improve current processes
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute reporting as requested.
  • Assist with audits and provide documentation and support as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in the accounting field with an emphasis on retail accounting.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, practices, and AP accounting
    processes.
  • Organized and detail oriented while prioritizing and managing multiple projects, tasks, and
    deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose problem
    solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across
    teams.
  • Experience with Fintech and PDI/Enterprise preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills.
