Service Desk Analyst Join a fast-paced, 24/7 technical support team providing real-time assistance to internal users across a diverse operational environment. This role focuses heavily on network-related troubleshooting, particularly in retail settings, and requires strong communication skills to support non-technical users.
Shift Details * Second or Third Shift. Role Overview * Provide first-line support for remote users across core business systems * Handle inbound calls and troubleshoot technical issues, primarily related to retail hardware and network connectivity * Support includes point-of-sale systems, receipt printers, credit card readers, and other retail technologies * Communicate effectively with non-technical users using clear, simple language * Document issues and resolutions in a ticketing system * Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex issues * Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge base Required Experience * 3+ years in technical support or customer service roles * Strong troubleshooting skills across operating systems and business applications * Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments * Ability to manage high call volumes * Fast typing and general computer proficiency Preferred: * Experience supporting retail environments or customer-facing technologies * Exposure to network operations or infrastructure support * Understanding of point-of-sale systems and peripheral devices * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and follow through on ticket resolution Desired Skills * Operating system support (Windows, Linux) * Office productivity tools * Network connectivity troubleshooting * Retail hardware/software support * Customer service and escalation handling *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
