Senior Mechanical Engineer

This position is located at our Milan Ohio facility

OVERVIEW

Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years experience in pressure systems, heat exchanger and/or other related systems to support wind tunnel test facility refurbishment.

TYPICAL FUNCTIONS
1. Analyze pressure systems for adequate design margins
2. Specify commercial components to meet design parameters established by the project
3. Organize procurement of commercial and custom parts as necessary
4. Update project technical leads with schedule and task information
5. Work with technicians to properly install and test hardware

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Experience developing piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID)
2. Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC)
3. Experience in design and verification of pressure systems and related hardware (i.e. heat exchangers,
4. Familiarity with 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations
5. Familiarity with aerospace and/or aerospace related facility projects
6. Ability to design in solid modeling software a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

1. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and phone skills.

Ability to hear normal conversation. One eye (minimum) correctable to 20/20.
