Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer (Auditing) to join our team at Fort Gordon, GA. In this role, you will provide critical technical expertise supporting the deployment, integration, and sustainment of monitoring and auditing solutions across Army and Intelligence Community environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical expertise in the design, deployment, and integration of containerized Splunk/Elastic infrastructure, agents, dashboards, and services to support monitoring of Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) virtual machines, Windows virtual desktops, and related infrastructure.
  • Maintain technical currency by monitoring policy, guidance, and regulation updates; research and assess new/emerging commercial applications; and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Support the automated deployment and configuration of infrastructure, containers, and services in virtualized environments.
  • Collaborate with Tier III support teams to troubleshoot Splunk/Elastic implementations; coordinate with INSCOM G7 and external stakeholders to support development activities and mission objectives.
  • Conduct pre-delivery functionality and compliance testing to ensure alignment with DoD cybersecurity standards.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, implementation guides, white papers, executive summaries, and briefings for senior Army and Intelligence Community leadership.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 9 years of experience in DoD, Army, or INSCOM intelligence modernization, operations, systems, or organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk, Elastic, Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu, and VMware vCenter.
  • Active Security+ certification (must be obtained prior to start).
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to support INSCOM G7 requirements.

Bonus Points:

  • Relevant technical certifications (Splunk, Elastic, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with RHEL OpenShift.
  • Experience supporting Converged Infrastructure (CI) Distributed Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (DPED) IaaS environments.

Security Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required. Must be willing to undergo a CI polygraph to obtain and maintain NSAnet access.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of relevant experience
  • OR Master's degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience
  • OR PhD/JD and four (4) years of relevant experience
  • Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Work Schedule:

  • Onsite: Monday - Friday, 8 hours each day.
