WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking an Intern - Talent Acquisition in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site). This internship is full-time during the summer of 2026 with the potential to work part-time during the subsequent academic year(s). The hourly rate for this position is $20.30 with paid company holidays.

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Intern will support our Talent Acquisition Team at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. As a Talent Acquisition Intern you will have the opportunity to assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting optimization, candidate sourcing, resume screening, and interview scheduling.

Job Responsibilities
  • Learn full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, selection, hiring and onboarding
  • Train on the use of applicant tracking system and sourcing tools
  • Assist with recruitment marketing and utilizing social media to attract viable talent
  • Work with the team members to build talent pipelines and develop competitor analysis
  • Support the coordination of virtual and in-person interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Participate in talent acquisition projects, such as employer branding initiatives, and recruitment event planning
  • Assist with the creation of recruitment-related reports and analytics
  • Develop a working relationship with business unit leaders and Shared Services Teams
Minimum Qualification
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or closely related major with a graduation date after June 2026
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8

Pay Range Minimum: $20.30

Pay Range Maximum: $23.43

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
