Pay: $31.00 an hour

Schedule: Part-time | Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday
10:00ama-8:00pm|


Requirements:

  • Valid Class A or Class B driver's license with Passenger Endorsement
  • Minimum 2 years of licensed driving experience
  • Current DOT medical certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Transportation Supervisor
  • At least 2 years of experience with a regular Class C license
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must submit a K-4 DMV record printout (dated within the last 30 days)

    MUST have Class A or B license.

    MUST have at least 1 yrs of CDL driving experience.

    MUST have Passenger Endorsement.

    MUST have Air Brake Endorsement.

    MUST have a valid DOT medical certificate.

    The Spirit of the Position:

    The DOT Transportation Road Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of CDL drivers and to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. This role involves supervising driver schedules, route planning, safety training, compliance tracking, and performance management to ensure efficient and safe transportation of passengers. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Transportation Road Supervisor will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location.

    Principle Job Duties:



    • Supervise and support a team of CDL drivers.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable DOT/FMCSA and FTA regulation.
    • Conduct regular driver performance evaluations.
    • Coordinate daily operations ensuring adherence to schedules.
    • Collaborate with management to ensure optimal route planning and on-time delivery.

    • Monitor transportation technology for completeness and accuracy.
    • Respond to emergencies and breakdowns including covering open driver shifts needed.

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience:



    • 1+ years of experience in transportation supervision, with a strong understanding of DOT regulations.
    • Minimum 1 year experience with a CDL license.
    • Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
    • Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger and air brake endorsement(s).
    • Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
    • Prior supervisory experience a plus.


    Skills & Competencies:



    • Strong knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions under pressure.
    • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.


    Licenses/Certifications:



    • Valid CDL (Class A or B) driver's license with passenger and air brake endorsements required.


    Physical Demands:



    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to inspect vehicles and work in outdoor conditions.
    • Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
    • Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
    • Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, heat, high wind, etc.)
