Analyst, Business Change

National Grid is hiring Analyst, Business Change for our Gas Damage Prevention department in Syracuse or Albany, NY.

Reporting to the Manager, Change Delivery, this key role will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on compliance-related activities within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that all operations align with legal and regulatory standards.

• Conduct compliance audits and assessments on a regular cadence to identify areas of risk and ensure adherence to regulations
• Create and uphold process documentation to facilitate effective knowledge sharing
• Monitor changes in relevant gas work methods and assess their impact on the organization
• Collaborate with internal teams & contractors to provide guidance on compliance issues and best practices
• Prepare, cascade and present compliance reports to management and stakeholders
• Support investigations of compliance violations and collaborate in discussions for corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings
• Work with leadership team to identify improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency
• Responsible for the management of multiple initiatives directed toward end-to-end process model and other organizational objectives

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering with an advanced business degree preferred.
• At least four years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in planning, performance management, reporting and working with external agencies/stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work well across all company functions with staff from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience.
• MS Office tools - Proficient in Excel
• A valid driver's license is required.
