Project Leader - Enterprise Continuous Improvement

Your Role on Our Team:

Lead and manage cross-functional business improvement projects from strategy through execution. Drive operational efficiency and customer experience by applying strong project management skills, coordinating resources, and ensuring successful implementation and sustainment of enterprise-wide initiatives.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Project Leadership

  • Lead medium to large-scale business improvement projects across multiple departments and locations.
  • Develop and execute project plans and governance documents such as charters, schedules, budgets, action plans, etc
  • Capability to quickly establish credibility, influence project teams and persuade professionals at all levels from individual contributor to Sr Leadership
  • Strategic leadership to continually challenge status quo and strive for solutions that are sustainable and provide long-term value for the business
  • Identify and escalate (when needed) key project hurdles or roadblocks.
  • Consistently grasp full project scope with minimal guidance, while evaluating alignment with broader business goals and interdependencies across the business
  • Ability to translate issues into business impact in a clear and concise manner for leadership's visibility and understanding.
  • Inspire and drive project team and stakeholders to transform our business in alignment with established future-state vision.
  • Ensure changes are fully integrated through follow-up communication and consistency.
  • Drive accountability and maintain cross-functional momentum throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and effectively communicates up, down, and across the organization
  • Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and measure success
  • Confidence to ask questions and constructively challenge subject matter experts and other leaders to drive clarity and alignment within the project team
  • Maintain a strategic cross-functional mindset and understand how business decisions will impact entire organization
  • Schedules, develops agendas for, and facilitates project meetings. Documentation of discussion with action items effectively captured is shared shortly thereafter.
  • Establish appropriate metrics and track progress, achievements, and results. This includes executive level reporting, management updates - keeping visibility to team members and stakeholders, to ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Evaluate project interdependencies and proactively manage integration across departments
  • Responsible for change management & change adoption following ADKAR framework

Lean/Process Improvement Mentality

  • Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Breakdown complex issues and help teams align on problem that needs to be addressed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define future-state processes and develop actionable plans.
  • Apply appropriate Lean/Problem Solving tools as needed to support project goals including Process Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, RACI,
  • Perform analysis of current state & provide multiple what-if scenarios for improved process. Understand and present financial impacts of these scenarios
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and improvement events to engage teams and accelerate execution.
  • Develop and deliver Lean/Project fundamental training to all levels of organization as needed (advocate of Lean/project management methodologies). Build the skills of all functional leaders and associates through hands-on interactions and personal mentoring
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Minimum 6+ years total experience with 2-4 yrs related project management experience
  • Previous facilitator and coaching experiences where problem solving, process development and/or behavior change methods and tools have been used
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Advanced problem identification and resolution skills
  • Results driven and deadline oriented. Ability to manage projects in a fast paced and agile culture.
  • Ability to adapt to constant change and competing priorities across the business
  • Thrives in a collaborative work environment. Ability to develop and nurture productive business relationships
  • Strong Data Analysis skills - MS Excel, Power BI, etc
  • Self-Starter and Effective Communicator with both verbal and visual content
  • Experience with digital whiteboarding tools such as Lucidchart/Lucidspark

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, IT, or equivalent years of directly related experience in Lean/Project Management roles
  • Lean Certification, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, TPS
  • Finance, Distribution/logistics, Supply Chain, Product Data experience
  • Service Now, SharePoint, Digital Assets, Microsoft Power Platform, VBA, SQL experience
  • Prosci Change Management Certification
