Washington, DC (JBAB) Pay From: $70.00 per hour MUST: Required TS/SCI CI Poly Prior military experience at the O3/O4 level 10+ years of relevant experience (must be current) 5+ years' experience as a planner supporting a J3, J5, or J25 staff section is required. Assignment within a Future Operations team is preferred. Experience conducting/producing intelligence products. Solid understanding of DIA and/or DNI Tradecraft Standards. Intermediate - Expert experience with Microsoft Office Applications. DIA PACE or other All-Source Intelligence Analytical Course Must - graduate of JAWS, SAMS, SAASS, SAW, MAWS, JECC-PC, JCWS or exposure to planning frameworks through Intermediate or Senior Service School is desired DoD Joint Intelligence Planner Certification BA/MA Degree must have DUTIES: Senior Intelligence Planner will provide support planning efforts, related staff actions, and coordination with counterparts within DIA and across the Department of Defense. The Planner should be trained or otherwise experienced as a contingency planner or strategist within DoD and should be capable of designing or advising DIA planners on the effective application of Joint Planning Process principles in the development of Agency planning documents. Perform independent reviews of plans, strategies, policy and operational taskings, translate doctrine, and provide recommendations to DIA leadership. Support to reviews and development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management and time sensitive planning. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the All-Source Analyst activities required to meet mission requirements. Possesses a mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. Define comprehensive, new, or unique approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks. Demonstrates in-depth analysis of operations, training, and exercise management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings. Reviews analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
