Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Manage hosting infrastructure design and delivery projects for the Global Information Security portfolio Deploy hosting infrastructure for lower tier applications providing reporting capabilities, to high availability applications requiring multi-datacenter global deployments and network traffic management Responsible for the end-to-end management of infrastructure projects of high rigor and high complexity in a fast-paced environment Manage task execution, lead discussions, and direct the work efforts of technical resources leading projects focused on deploying hosting infrastructure to the Global Information Security organization who will be deploying business applications used for information security protection of the client, its customers, internal resources, and third-party entities Lead the subject matter experts from these technology disciplines from initial design discussions, governance reviews, build and deploy activities, culminating in a go-live event Act as the project's primary point of contact Resource engagement; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities Lead the daily meetings consisting of the project team and partners Identify delivery impediments and escalate as necessary Lead project execution, integration, and implementation Define project milestones and socialize to business partners Ensure milestone dates are met by driving execution of tasks Hold resources accountable to agreed-to task completion dates Engage technical resources and define their scope of work Risk management and mitigation planning Ensure change management process adherence Quality assurance ensuring that all tasks are completed as specified Establish and maintain relationships with technical partners Requirements: 10 + years of Technical Project Management Strong project leader Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lead meetings, follow-up, negotiate and resolve ambiguity A proven track record in a similar role Experience of large-scale complex projects Experience with infrastructure technologies (physical server hosting, virtual machine hosting, storage, network, database, middleware, network traffic management, Network DMZ) Agile Scrum and Jira Ability to collaborate with globally disparate teams Ability to manage the execution of technical solutions whether by a single team or multiple teams Able to proactively engage business and technology leaders Keen attention to detail and strong sense of ownership and accountability for work Self-starter and can work with little to no supervision Desired skills: Hosting infrastructure delivery experience Information Security knowledge Microsoft Project Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
