Job Overview

The Manager, RGM Execution is responsible for developing, coaching, mentoring, and managing multiple direct reports, ensuring customer service, data accuracy, and timely delivery is met within the RGM Execution Team. The Manager, RGM Execution serves as subject matter expert and primary liaison to the sales function and RGM department around trade spend by promoting a comprehensive understanding of trade spend expenses and developing standardized analytics. They also apply financial acumen to the reconciliation and management of the General Ledger Accounts. This position isresponsible for effectively managing the interrelationship between trade spend and adjusted gross margin, requiring sensitivity to minimizing any negative impact on the company's cash flow, financial results, or customer relationships, while maintaining appropriate internal controls. Responsible for overseeing the Trade Promotions Analyst team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads proper checkbook management across all of the customer teams, ensure the team is validating and processing, clearing invoices promptly, validating all customer billings for accuracy
  • Ensures the team is capturing and recording billings, spending estimates accurately and timely, and helping to relay if any billings are received that are inaccurate to the appropriate parties
  • Manages the day-to-day execution activities aspects of Trade Promotions contract execution, including but not limited to creating, generating, and analyzing reports, presenting key findings to internal business partners relative to accuracy in execution, andvalidating that data is accurate and execution is timely
  • Coaches and develops team members on tools and reporting to enable job performance, while managing the workload and customer assignments for direct reports, through effective scorecard performance management
  • Leads continuous enhancements to business and system processes
  • Works on special projects, ad hoc analysis, and initiatives
  • Manages, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective performance management, and coaching and training
  • Implements continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to lead and define positive change while challenging the status quo, high level of analytic rigor, and business acumen, required
  • Attention to detail, multitasking ability, great customer service, and team player values, strong organization and written, verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze situations and come to a satisfactory resolution using company guidelines and values
  • Possess a high-level understanding of MARS systems, broad knowledge of CPG, master data hierarchy, highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access), CPG experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (4 years preferred in Finance, Business, or Marketing)
  • Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of relevant work experience
