We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Digital Assets team. This role is located in New York, NY. Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to lead product design and implementation across compliance screening, asset governance, and vendor coordination. This role serves as a key liaison between operations, compliance, and technology teams, ensuring seamless execution of regulatory processes and system updates. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- POD Administration & Agile Support (10%)
- Facilitate stand-ups, refinement sessions, and release coordination for the POD team.
- Asset Governance (5%)
- Lead annual policy and procedure reviews.
- Serve as Procedure Owner for designated assets.
- Compliance Screening & KYT Oversight (20%)
- Manage DLS tools and coordinate with vendor tech contacts.
- Conduct monthly check-ins and quarterly vendor reviews.
- Oversee system updates, access management, and SailPoint role updates.
- Act as GAMO contact and coordinate screening rule changes.
- Serve as point of contact forSanctions Support, AML Surveillance, and Compliance/Ops teams.
- Travel Rule / TRUST Implementation (10%)
- Act as operational and technical liaison for Travel Rule compliance.
- Coordinate with industry utility TRUST on system updates.
- KYV - VASP Onboarding (5%)
- Manage onboarding and setup on enterprise reference data systems.
- Conduct periodic VASP reviews and Travel Rule setup on NEXEN.
- Client Reporting (2%)
- Support NEXEN client reporting and implement report changes.
- DA Tax Coordination (5%)
- Serve as point of contact for tax-related matters and periodic check-ins.
- Ad-Hoc Support (10%)
- Participate in training, design sessions, and respond to operational queries.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 7+ years of experience in digital assets, custody, fintech, or financial services product management.
- Must exhibit flexibility and be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment where new challenges arise and priorities shift.
- Strong understanding of compliance screening processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with vendor management and system access controls.
- Familiarity with tools such as Chainalysis, Elliptic, SailPoint, and NEXEN.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
