Floating Clinical Director

100% Travel Position | Washington State (Shelton, Tumwater, Olympia, Tacoma, Tukwila, Sedro-Woolley)

Average Assignment Length: approx. 3-9 months per location. Sitting in as Interim Clinical Director/Team Lead/Court Appointee/Clinician when vacant. May also have weekly assignments as needed.
Travel Support: Hotel and airfare covered through company credit card, as needed. Will travel in own person car, mileage reimbursed at federal rate.

Position Summary

The Floating Clinical Director is a mid-level management role designed for licensed clinical leaders who thrive on flexibility and travel. Reporting directly to the Administrator, this position provides leadership, coordination, and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary teams across Telecare programs in Washington State.

As a traveling Clinical Director, you will serve as interim leadership for programs during new business launches, vacancies, or leaves of absence. Assignments typically last 3-9 months and require the ability to quickly adapt, build relationships, and uphold Telecare's high standards of care.

This role is ideal for someone who embraces variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to make an impact across multiple programs while strengthening Telecare's recovery-focused culture.


Qualifications

Required:




  • Active Washington clinical licensure in good standing: LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC



  • At least 1 year in a leadership role (inpatient or outpatient)




    • Master's degree or higher in Social Services



    • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate direct clinical experience in a mental health setting



    • Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges, including families and advisory boards



    • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver




    Shifts Available


    • Full-Time, Salaried | Monday - Friday, Weekends as Needed




    Compensation


    • Expected starting wage range: $108,000.00 - $134,000.00



    • Full range to: $160,178.99



    • Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.




    Essential Functions

    As a Floating Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of multiple Telecare programs across Washington State. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity where you will:




    • Lead with impact: Travel 75-80% annually to provide interim clinical leadership at programs for 3-9 months at a time, stepping in during critical transitions such as new program launches, leadership vacancies, or leaves of absence.



    • Set the standard of care: Partner with Administrators as the clinical authority of assigned programs, establishing and maintaining strong clinical systems and ensuring the highest standards of care.



    • Drive clinical excellence: Oversee program services to ensure compliance with Telecare policies, state/county regulations, and evidence-based best practices.



    • Build lasting partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and ensure continuity of care for members served.



    • Champion recovery: Foster a program culture rooted in dignity, respect, and empowerment, aligning with Telecare's mission of supporting individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams.



    • Develop talent: Provide supervision, coaching, and evaluation of clinical staff, supporting their professional growth and ensuring service excellence.



    • Ensure quality outcomes: Conduct chart audits, oversee documentation, and implement quality improvement initiatives that strengthen program outcomes.



    • Collaborate strategically: Work with leadership teams to align program operations with corporate initiatives, quality standards, and organizational goals.



    • Respond with professionalism: Provide guidance in crisis situations, lead incident investigations, and support regulatory compliance when needed.
