DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Analyst Supervisor, you will provide leadership to technical, professional, and support staff in the application of information systems, data infrastructure, and data validation reporting to ensure that adults and children with mental illness and substance use disorders receive high quality services from the Department of Human Services. You will participate in the planning and development of the Enterprise Case Management system by representing OMHSAS needs, as well as coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support county and joinder data requirements. You will also analyze enrollment, utilization, expenditures, and outcome data of the Community Mental Health Program. This role requires the ability to work with considerable independence, initiative, and judgment while operating within established Commonwealth policy, procedures, and guidelines. In addition, you will participate in departmental monitoring teams, onsite reviews, and readiness reviews as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, working at least 1 day per week in the office. This will increase to working at least two days per week in the office when directed by administration. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Services Analyst (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
