As the Industry Solutions Director - Merchandising, Sales, and Revenue Growth Management, you will lead pipeline and revenue generating go-to-market strategies, solutions portfolio development, and field sales enablement motions to deliver outsized business, reputation, and market share growth. In this role, you will be a strategic thinker with expertise in retail merchandising and consumer goods sales and category management, ready to influence across functions and drive measurable customer transformation.In this role, you will lead with industry depth to curate a portfolio of industry scenarios paired with Microsoft and partner-led solutions that enables net new pipeline development. You will also co-innovate with global merchandising, sales, and RGM (revenue growth management) leaders to envision, shape, and deliver the future of Agentic AI. This role is pivotal in driving Microsoft's global Retail and Consumer Goods scale go-to-market strategy. Job Location: This role is located in Redmond, WA. This role is flexible in that you may work from home up to 50%. ResponsibilitiesYou will anticipate market shifts and articulate customer needs, triangulating across AI-enabled research, data analysis, industry analyst insights, partner ecosystem signal, and customer conversations. You will act as a strategic advisor to Microsoft and customer leaders, influencing AI transformation strategy with compelling narratives, value propositions, market insights and domain expertise. You will create a portfolio of Microsoft and partner solutions that unlocks net new pipeline and revenue opportunities with the Chief Merchant, Head of Category Management, and Chief Revenue/Sales Officer personas. You will ideate and iterate repeatable industry scenarios and Go-To-Market sales plays to drive sales at scale across customers and partners, enabling Microsoft Industry Advisors, Account Teams, and Partners as needed. You will execute as One Microsoft (defining goals, deliverables, and execution plans across organizational boundaries) to deliver commercial outcomes, leading cross-functional sales, solutions, and enablement programs. You will augment your inherent business acumen with AI tools to analyze business performance to identify trends and best practices that accelerate pipeline development and optimize realized revenue. You will lead feedback loops across sellers, customers, partners, marketing, and engineering to monitor go-to-market success and identify emerging needs.
