Summary:

The Project Manager oversees the implementation of a Data Governance Framework, ensuring timely, compliant execution of all objectives and deliverables, including Data Inventory Management System (DIMS) and data mesh architecture maturation, aligned with DoD Data Strategy and VAULTIS goals.

*This role is based in Falls Church, VA with possible telework.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder coordination for a 12-month period.
• Ensure alignment with Scaled Agile Framework and contractual deliverables (e.g., AoA Report, Governance Playbook).
• Oversee transitions, reporting, and compliance with HIPAA/FISMA standards.
• Deliver monthly status updates and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Ability to motivate, delegate, and resolve conflicts.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical thinking to resolve issues and adapt to changes.
• Prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Management, IT, or related field.
• PMP or Agile certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist).
• Senior level (8-10 years in project management, 5+ in DoD/healthcare).
• Minimum 5+ years managing DoD or healthcare data projects.
• Secret clearance or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in DoD Data Strategy and VAULTIS.
• Familiarity with DHA systems (e.g., MHS GENESIS, Advana).

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 annually.
