JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Training Specialist to join our team at NH Ball Bearings. In this role, your excellent communication and organizational skills will be used to ensure the delivering of training initiatives. As the Training Specialist, you will plan for, develop, implement and track training programs that support employee development and company objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Ensure company goals are being met through current training programs.
  • Enhance current and develop new programs, as necessary, to keep training up-to-date.
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions and new employee orientation programs.
  • Maintain and tract training records and employee participation and progress. Must follow ISO9001 training audit requirements.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.
  • Manage learning management systems and other training-related tools.
  • Provide reports and feedback to leadership.
  • Collect date for, and create/modify curriculum for diverse types of audiences and learning delivery methods.

JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively with employees at all levels, and work within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to operate media equipment for presenting.
  • Highly self-motivated with demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in training, education or related area.
  • Familiarity with training development, delivery methods and learning management systems.
  • Manufacturing experience is desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, grabbing, twisting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
  • Must be able to physically lift up to 40lbs, when necessary.
