Location: Duke Hospital (Neurology Lab) Durham, North Carolina Work Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday General Description Operation of sonographic equipment, perform and communicate results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. Must obtain RVT (registered vascular technologist) within 18 months of hire. As a registered vascular technologist (RVT), the focus in our Neurology Department-whether for inpatients or outpatients-is on neurovascularstudies, which include:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum Qualifications Education Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirementsfor registry/certification or currently holds required registry orcertification. Experience None required beyond above education/certification requirements. Level I - Must obtain ARDMS certifications as required by each entity within 18 months of employment. Level II - Minimum of two years' experience as a Sonographer. Level III A minimum of 4 years' experience with in specialty modality in which they are seeking promotion. Degrees , Licensures, Certifications ARDMS certification within 18 months of hire.BLS certificationBLS certification.
