Development Intern - Minneapolis

Job Description:

As a Development Intern, you will support the pursuit of new business and the execution of Ryan-owned and third-party owned development and construction projects.

Some things you can expect to support and perform:

  • Market research

  • Organizing project information, communication and meetings

  • Preparing deal approval packages for the board of directors and management teams

  • Assisting in site evaluation and acquisition and LOI/Lease negotiations

  • Assistance in coordinating tenant improvement construction projects

  • Supporting the entitlement process

  • Involvement in creating development proposals and simple to complex development proforma

To be successful in this role:

  • You must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in real estate or finance or related fields within 18 months of graduation.

  • Available to work up to 20 hours a week for at least three months.

You will really stand out if you:

  • Are extremely well-organized.

  • Have the ability to implement development tasks on multiple development projects with moderate supervision from associate or senior development staff.

  • Communicate clearly.

  • Demonstrate entry-level presentation skillset.

  • Display relationship building skillset.

  • Collaborate well.

Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S

Compensation:

The hourly wage is $20-$25/hour . The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
