US Citizenship and the ability to pass and maintain a Federal government (Public Trust) clearance is required for this position.

While primarily remote, this role may require occasional on-site work. The selected candidate must live within commuting distance of Washington, D.C.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator, your responsibilities will include administering the SQL Server database in both standalone and clustered architecture on Windows in on-premise and cloud environments. You will demonstrate extensive experience with SQL Server backup/recovery, configuring failover clusters, setting up jobs, and monitoring these tasks. Strong T SQL capabilities, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills are also necessary, as well as experience with SQL Server reporting services, integration services, and analysis services.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of conducting SQL Server database administration
• Extensive experience administering SQL Server databases in standalone and clustered architecture on Windows in both on-premise and cloud environments
• Extensive experience with SQL Server backup/recovery, configuring failover clusters, setting up jobs and monitoring
• Strong T SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with SQL Server reporting services, integration services, and analysis services

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, SQL Server on Windows, and MySQL on Ubuntu is highly desirable
• Experience with Federal Government projects

EDUCATION:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000

All individuals being hired to work for TCG must submit to, and successfully pass, a pre-employment background investigation prior to reporting for their first day of work. The pre-employment background investigation will include verification of employment and education, as well as, a criminal and DMV check.

Additional documentation and background checks will also be required for positions that require clearance from the Federal government.
