About the Team
OpenAI is building advanced AI infrastructure with key strategic partners. Our infrastructure organization shapes strategy and delivers projects across multiple regions. From planning through delivery, we operate at the intersection of commercial, technical, strategy, and operations-partnering closely with teams and leaders inside and outside OpenAI. About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Infrastructure QA/QC Lead to oversee quality assurance and quality control across all phases of a large-scale, multi-site data center program. You'll ensure that work meets or exceeds design standards, performance requirements, and reliability expectations-from early construction through commissioning and turnover. You will develop and enforce QA/QC standards, inspection protocols, and acceptance criteria. Partnering with contractors, design teams, and commissioning agents, you'll embed a quality-first culture to ensure every system is delivered to spec, on schedule, and built to last. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of three days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance for new employees. In This Role, You Will
