Requirements Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System. Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care. Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty. Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership. Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence. Qualifications Pediatric-trained nurse - Acute care pediatric oncology unit, ambulatory setting. Required: RN License;BLS; PALs; EPIC; MUST have2 years of experience of PEDs experience (MED SURG/ IMC/PICU); APHON chemo/biotherapy provider course/certificate required Preferred: Travel experience; EPIC Patient age range: Oncology pediatric patients, newborns up to 25 years IV skills preferred; some care management 9 infusion spaces, 8 exam rooms, one treatment room Diagnosis includes solid tumors, leukemia/hematologic malignancies, blood/bone marrow transplant, infusion therapy -biotherapy/chemotherapy; oncology acute care; cancer clinical trials Weekend:Every 3rd weekend (may work 11 South inpatient on weekends) Holidays:As needed by the unit Call: No call for travelers 26-week long-term assignment (10/5 to 4/4/26) Rate: $60/hr Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
