Contributes to the development of an operational year plan for own department activities of the team. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures.

As a AMO Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for managing the activities within the AMO Electronic and Mechanical areas to meet safety, quality, production and cost goals.

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination and direction of all production operations to ensure maximum throughput and quality.

  • Utilize problem solving techniques and continuous process improvement tools to improve area key performance indicators.

  • Plans, organizes and implements manufacturing procedures in accordance with managed quarterly and annual budgets.

  • Develops, analyzes, and presents weekly reports, including but not limited to, forecasts, productivity, and safety.

  • Makes budgetary recommendations and may coordinate procurement for capital expenditures.

  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.

  • Typically managing hourly employee populations.

  • May be responsible for multiple product lines.

  • Selects, hires and trains personnel.

  • Handles special projects, as assignee.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • HS diploma/GED or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or BS Industrial Engineering

  • 4 plus years' experience in Repair and Maintenance of MWD/LWD equipment

  • 4 plus years' experience with SAP

  • Experience generating plant production reports - preferably using SAP, Excel or Tableau

  • Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and customer focused with a drive for results.

  • Ability to manage time, make quality decisions, and manage and measure work.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing principles, concepts, theories and practices of area of responsibility.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Established Project Management Skills.

  • Strong financial & data analysis skills.

  • Good organizing, planning, and presentation skills.
