The Sales Representative is a key driver of growth, focused on aggressive prospecting and securing new accounts to maximize top-line revenue. With a hunter mentality, you will actively pursue new business and develop influential relationships with potential external customers. This position takes full ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial customer contact to identifying tailored products solutions and ensuring seamless execution of customer needs.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for continuing to accelerate commercial growth in MCC's RFID Smart Packaging platform. You will work with customers across end markets and use cases, including Home & Personal Care, Logistics, Food & beverage, and Wine and Spirits markets. This is a high-growth platform as MCC continues to expand its market leadership in RFID converting and Smart Packaging Solutions.

  • This role leverages internal resources to assess customer needs and provide strategic recommendations, all while aligning with both regional and organizational goals.
  • Strong business acumen, financial insight, and critical thinking are essential for making informed, strategic decisions.
  • Sales Representatives are expected to become subject matter experts in their field by continuously analyzing market trends, economic conditions, the competitive landscape, and opportunities for innovation. They will represent and sell products across multiple business units within their assigned region.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, collaborate with experts, and build long-term business relationships.
  • This role requires travel to various customer sites, participation in meetings, and adaptability to diverse work environments. Some overnight travel will be necessary.
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure seamless customer experiences and alignment on strategic objectives.
  • Utilizes CRM systems to track sales activities, customer interactions, pipeline development, and forecasting accuracy, ensuring data-driven sales planning and performance analysis.
  • Develop sales plans, execute and deliver compelling presentations, and utilize marketing materials to promote company objectives.
  • Represent the company at tradeshows, industry events, and customer meetings to enhance visibility.
  • Meets and exceeds quarterly, monthly and annual sales goals while collaborating with internal teams on pricing and terms to accelerate growth.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in a related field or related equivalent work experience in related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • A Hunter mind-set and the ability to be persistent to close New Business wins
  • Experience in selling packaging or label product lines
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Experience with the suite of Microsoft products; Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc
  • Ability to navigate complex and elongated sales cycles
  • Results Driven
  • Intense focus on serving the customer
  • Travel required: 50% domestically
  • This is a remote role- Preferred candidate location: Eastern or Central Time Zones
  • Overnight travel will be required
