POSITION DESCRIPTION

A Facilities Maintenance Manager at SET Environmental is responsible for:



  • Overseeing maintenance operations:

    • Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program for facility systems and equipment
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively
    • Ensuring timely and effective completion of operator work requests
    • Coordinating with internal teams and external contractors for repairs and maintenance tasks
    • Overseeing the maintenance of the facility's structural integrity, including roofing, flooring, and other building components


  • Team management and leadership:

    • Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team, including scheduling and performance evaluations
    • Providing leadership and guidance to the maintenance team
    • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to facilities maintenance


  • Budgeting and resource management:

    • Developing and managing the facility maintenance budget, including forecasting and controlling expenditures
    • Ensuring efficient procurement of equipment, parts, and related supplies
    • Negotiating and managing service contracts with external vendors and suppliers


  • Safety and compliance:

    • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety throughout the facility
    • Responding to emergency situations as required


  • General upkeep and functionality:

    • Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of interior and exterior areas, including offices, parking lots, and grounds
    • Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
    • Implementing energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact
    • Maintaining adequate records of preventive maintenance work, work orders, annual inspections, purchase orders and overtime reports


  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary



POSITION REQUIREMENTS



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ten years of experience in maintenance, mechanical or related field
  • Mechanical inclination
  • Strong leadership, teamwork mentality
  • Training includes, workplace hazards and safety, equipment, and standard operating procedures
