Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Unloading:

    Verifying incoming shipments, unloading materials from trucks, and checking for accuracy and damage.
  • Storing and Inventory Management:

    Organizing and storing items, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Order Fulfillment:

    Picking items from inventory, packing orders, and preparing them for shipment.
  • Shipping and Loading:

    Loading items onto trucks for shipment, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring items are properly secured.
  • Equipment Operation:

    Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials safely and efficiently.
  • Warehouse Maintenance:

    Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety standards are met, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Record Keeping:

    Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other relevant data.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physical Stamina: The ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Organizational Skills: The ability to keep track of inventory, organize items, and maintain a tidy workspace.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with inventory management systems and other warehouse software.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping procedures.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively with other warehouse personnel to meet daily goals.
  • Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Forklift
  • Knowledge of UPS/FedEx software and pick customer orders



Example Tasks:

  • Unloading a truckload of boxes and sorting them by product type.
  • Using a forklift to move pallets of goods to designated storage locations.
  • Picking items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
  • Packing orders securely for shipment.
  • Performing inventory counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Operating a computer system to track inventory and update records.
