Position Summary

Acuren is recruiting for a Business Development Coordinator at our Cincinnati, OH location.

The Business Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing opportunities across the Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance (TICC) sector. This position will leverage multiple lead sources-including inbound inquiries, industry databases, outbound prospecting, partnerships, trade events, and digital channels-to support the sales team in achieving revenue targets. The role requires strong organizational skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to coordinate effectively between marketing, sales, and operations.



Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Qualification

    Source new business opportunities through multiple lead channels (CRM data, industry-specific databases, inbound marketing leads, referral networks, trade shows, LinkedIn, HUB SPOT, and other digital platforms).
  • Qualify leads based on client needs, industry segment, and service potential within the TICC space (e.g., NDT, environmental testing, product compliance, calibration, industrial inspections).
  • Maintain and update the CRM with accurate and timely information on prospects, activities, and pipeline status.

Business Development Support

  • Coordinate with Business Development Managers and Sales Executives to schedule client meetings, prepare proposals, and follow up on opportunities.
  • Conduct initial client outreach to introduce services, assess needs, and secure appointments.
  • Assist in developing targeted prospecting campaigns for specific industry verticals.

Market Intelligence & Research

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory updates impacting the TICC sector.
  • Research and map target accounts, identifying decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Provide insight on high-potential market segments based on lead conversion analytics.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns and events.
  • Liaise with technical and operational teams to ensure accurate service offerings are presented to potential clients.
  • Track and report on lead conversion rates, campaign effectiveness, and pipeline health.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with digital prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, etc.).

Other work duties as assigned.



Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales coordination, or marketing support-preferably in the TICC industry or other technical B2B services.
