This temporary, full-time exempt position is expected to continue through June 14, 2026, with potential for extension depending on departmental needs and funding. Job Summary: An experienced clinical and translational researcher in dermatology is needed to join Dr. Maria Hordinsky's dermatology clinical and translational research team. The clinical and translational research lead position involves leading the development, design, and completion of research projects, abstract submissions, and manuscripts for the clinical research team. The position involves coordinating the orderly and proper collection of research data, organization and optimization of data display, and coordination of effective literature reviews to facilitate the completion of scientific manuscripts through writing, editing, and submission of manuscripts for possible publication. This position involves writing grant applications as a principal or co- investigator, including but not limited to internal University of Minnesota grant applications, Scientific Society or Foundation grant applications, and NIH and DOD grant applications. The position also involves mentoring research fellows/students/trainees on ongoing clinical research projects. This position requires a leader who will coordinate interdisciplinary team members, and drive initiatives from conception, execution, submission, and review.
