Clariant is currently looking for 2 Account Representatives to assist the Care Chemicals business unit in Broussard, LA. The primary goal of this role is to ensure client satisfaction, foster long-term partnerships, and drive revenue growth for Clariant. This position is also responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in the oil and gas industry and a hands-on, customer-focused approach to field service. This role is well suited for individuals who excel in physically demanding environments and enjoy working outdoors. This position is a hybrid role that requires a rotating schedule of 14 days offshore and 14 days remote. Responsibilities

* Support customer base on a 14/14 rotation (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely updates
* Provide comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic, and analytical service to customers
* Perform maintenance overhauls and emergency services as needed
* Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs or replacements of defective parts/components as needed to restore functionality
* Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and service checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
* Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and customer support, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
* Represent Clariant with professionalism and integrity, maintaining a positive company image and reputation in all customer interactions
* Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service status, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with Clariant's products/services
* Provide on-site training to customers on the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Clariant's products/services
* Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at customer sites, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others



Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
* 2-5 years of experience with oil & gas chemical production
* Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and environments
* Must be able to travel 50% of time with a rotating schedule of 14 days offshore and 14 days remote
