The Food Ingredient - North America - Inside Sales - Customer Care Department is seeking a detail-oriented, out-of-the-box thinker, Pricing Specialist to join our team

The role is based in New Century, KS, but it can be a fully remote role.

Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Ensure accurate and timely pricing by managing all price entries in Price Force across all business units and coordinating pricing credits, rebills, and tariff surcharges.
  • Monitor and resolve open order issues, including missing prices and changes to payment terms, using tools like the Order Orchestration and Management Report to maintain order integrity.
  • Generate and deliver pricing reports at mid-year, year-end, or upon request, supporting strategic decision-making and financial transparency.
  • Coordinate customer and account updates, including new customer setups, account manager changes, and payment term adjustments, ensuring seamless transitions and data accuracy.
  • Manage Price Force ticketing from issuance to resolution, ensuring pricing-related requests are addressed efficiently and effectively.
  • Support onboarding and compliance by setting up Delegation of Authority for new employees and ensuring pricing processes align with internal controls.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, sales directors, Customer Master Group, Finance, product managers, and customer service to resolve pricing and order-related issues.
  • Lead Canada-specific pricing operations, including US Dollar-Canadian Dollar exchange rate adjustments, freight/customs invoice approvals, and Canadian Environmental Protection Act -compliant material setups.
  • Troubleshoot daily operational challenges to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure smooth execution of pricing and order management tasks.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Proven SAP Order to Cash experience, with a minimum of 2 years preferred, ensuring familiarity with core systems and processes, and possessing a high school diploma, General Education Diploma, or higher.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, consistently delivering accurate and high-quality work across pricing and order management tasks.
  • Quick learner with a growth mindset, eager to acquire new skills through training and team guidance.
  • Self-starter mentality, capable of independently managing new responsibilities after initial onboarding.
  • Collaborative team player, open to direction while actively contributing to process improvements and team success.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, adept at navigating complex tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and drive initiatives forward.
  • Experienced in cross-functional collaboration, thriving in fast-paced settings alongside teams from Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and more.
  • Technologically proficient, with a solid command of Microsoft Office and other business applications, supporting efficient and effective work execution.
