Join our team as a temporary, full-time, Nuclear Medicine Tech In-House Traveler in Tulsa, OK.

This is a 12-week contract assignment.

  • Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate radio-pharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
  • Explain the imaging procedure to patients
  • Coordinate and participate in a variety of technical procedures, operate radiation detection and measurement instrumentation including stationary imaging devices, and scintillation gamma cameras.
  • Perform Nuclear Cardiology studies including imaging acquisition and processing and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan.
  • Be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS Computer System.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and prepare and maintain records concerning radio-pharmaceutical receiving, dispensing and disposal.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.) or be a graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry eligible.
    • If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry while employed.
  • Active Basic Life Support certification
