The Department of Specialized Services is actively recruiting candidates for special education itinerant contracted schools. Provide services to students with special education needs enrolled in MPS Charter and Contracted School Services. Responsible for implementing servcices based on individual students' IEPs. This position is in an MPS school that will follow the Early Start school calendar for the 2025-26 school year. How To Apply

Pending graduates should include a letter from their educational institution documenting that they have met the requirements for graduation and teacher certification. At the time of hire, the selected candidate will need to submit three (3) letters of recommendation dated within the last year and signed by the author and official transcripts conferring his/her undergraduate degree. Qualifications
Applicants must be licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to teach this specific grade level and / or content area. Current five-year or lifetime license in special education (801, 810, 811, or 830) grades 6-12, 9-12 or K-12 issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
The teacher salary range starts at $52,827,79 and increases according to the set salary schedule based on education beyond the required bachelor's degree and previous years of fully-licensed K-12 teaching experience. Equal Employment Opportunity
