Role & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead architect for designing and implementing microservices in a secure and scalable manner.
• Guide and lead development teams in adopting best practices for microservices and cloud-based software engineering.
• Collaborate with FBI stakeholders to gather requirements, present architectural solutions, and provide technical direction.
• Ensure security measures are embedded in the architecture and aligned with federal compliance standards.
• Conduct briefings, design reviews, and technical presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Utilize containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and manage services.
• Architect and implement solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, following DevSecOps principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying scalable microservices in enterprise or government environments.
• Proficient in modern programming languages such as C#, Java, and Python.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in cloud development, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
• Familiarity with secure application design and federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, FedRAMP).
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with Government leadership, developers, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews and technical presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect - Professional).
• Experience working in or with federal agencies, particularly in law enforcement or intelligence.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with service meshes (e.g., Istio) and API gateways.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (CI polygraph may be required depending on the assignment).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
