Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • The Kitting Production Assistant is responsible for coordinating and managing the administrative functions of the kitting area to ensure timely and accurate preparation of kits for production.
  • This role supports inventory control, documentation, scheduling, and communication between departments to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Generate and distribute kitting schedules and work orders based on production requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Monitor and report shortages, discrepancies, or quality issues with kit components.
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of kits.
  • Support cycle counts and inventory audits in the kitting area.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to kitting processes and material flow.
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, report generation, and filing.

Position Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles is a plus.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift materials up to 45 lbs.
  • Work in a warehouse or production environment with exposure to noise and moving equipment.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.

Salary Range: $40,100 to $70,800
