Income Tracking Specialist Licensing & Royalties Team This is a contract, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site role located in Santa Monica, CA. Summary Join a fast-paced licensing and royalties team responsible for ensuring accurate income tracking, royalty processing, and payment reconciliation. This role plays a key part in the financial ecosystem of third-party licensing, supporting internal operations and external partners. Our Ideal Candidate 2+ years of experience in income tracking, finance operations, or a related field Strong attention to detail with a foundation in financial reconciliation and record-keeping Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel Familiar with royalty management, licensing, and accounting workflows Skilled in collaborating across departments including Accounts Payable and external partners Able to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Flexible and adaptable to evolving team needs and priorities Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Self-starter with an interest in process improvement and automation Committed to handling sensitive information with confidentiality Job Description In this role, you will maintain an up-to-date tracking record for all third-party licensing, ensuring timely updates of contract terms and release dates. You'll partner with internal teams and external licensors to collect and reconcile royalty payments and outstanding balances. This includes downloading royalty statements, reconciling deal tracking systems, and issuing royalty invoices when needed in coordination with Accounts Payable. You will also support internal reporting and tracking systems, contributing to the overall accuracy and transparency of royalty income management.
