Marketing / Brand Strategy Team
This is a long-term, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Santa Monica, CA.
Summary We're looking for a strategic and passionate marketing leader to spearhead audience-first campaigns for iconic music catalogs. This role will focus on reactivating existing fan bases, capturing new generations of listeners, and amplifying timeless music through compelling brand storytelling, creative campaigns, and innovative fan engagement strategies.
Our Ideal Candidate
5-8+ years of experience in music, entertainment, or brand marketing
Passion for music history, culture, and storytelling
Deep knowledge of digital and social platforms, DSP ecosystems, and influencer/creator marketing
Proficient in managing end-to-end campaigns including creative development, digital execution, physical product marketing, and experiential initiatives
Familiar with CRM strategies, fan data analysis, and personalized content planning
Skilled in collaborating with artist managers, estates, creative partners, and internal cross-functional teams
Able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities independently
Flexible and adaptable with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a sharp eye for detail and alignment
Leadership qualities with a collaborative and innovative mindset
Job Description In this role, you will lead 360 marketing strategies for legacy music catalogs, building emotional and cultural relevance for long-standing artists. You'll partner with creative, digital, CRM, commerce, and artist teams to deliver engaging fan experiences and impactful campaigns. This includes:
Driving long-term brand plans with narrative arcs, anniversaries, and creative opportunities
Executing cross-platform campaigns across DSPs, retail, digital, and social media
Expanding artist branding and visual identities for modern audiences
Developing e-commerce strategies including D2C product drops, vinyl, and collectible activations
Coordinating campaign KPIs using audience data and fan insights
Managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams from concept through post-launch
Collaborating with estates, artist teams, and external partners for brand alignment
You will also help maintain ongoing strategy development, content execution standards, and campaign reporting to ensure continued success and growth.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Background in brand marketing, music, entertainment, or creative storytelling
Previous experience developing content-driven campaigns and fan engagement strategies
Experience working with artist teams or estates preferred

This opportunity is located in Santa Monica, CA and requires hybrid work:
Mon-Thurs: On-site, 9AM-5PM PT
Fridays: Remote, 9AM-5PM PT (summer Fridays sign off at 1PM PT, though availability may be needed afterward)
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $60 - $63.75 per hour.
