This is a long-term, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Santa Monica, CA.
Summary We're seeking a passionate and strategic Catalog Marketing Manager to lead end-to-end campaign development for physical-forward music releases. This role will support high-visibility projects such as deluxe editions, vinyl reissues, anniversary campaigns, and collector's items-bridging heritage storytelling with modern fan engagement across multiple channels.
Our Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience in music marketing, product management, or physical media strategy
Passion for music history and fan-focused storytelling, with a strong foundation in physical product marketing
Proficient in e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and campaign analytics
Deep understanding of vinyl culture, collector communities, and D2C sales strategies
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including creative, production, A&R, and e-commerce
Able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and business needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for creative detail
Innovative mindset that brings fresh ideas to timeless music and legacy campaigns
Job Description In this role, you will lead strategic marketing efforts for legacy-focused physical releases, guiding projects from concept through post-launch. You'll partner with internal and external stakeholders to elevate products as cultural touchpoints. This includes:
Leading integrated marketing campaigns across e-commerce, social, CRM/email, media placements, and retail
Developing go-to-market strategies that balance physical and digital channels
Collaborating with estates, artist managers, and stakeholders to maintain brand integrity and maximize reach
Driving campaign storytelling through packaging, liner notes, marketing copy, and content
Analyzing sales trends and CRM insights to refine rollout strategies
Managing timelines, budgets, approvals, and cross-team communication from pre-sale to post-release
Contributing to long-term artist growth through multi-year physical brand strategies
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing, music business, communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Background in music marketing, physical media, or catalog product management

In-office Monday-Thursday (9 AM-5 PM PT)
Remote on Fridays (sign off at 1 PM PT during summer hours, as business allows)
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $52.00 - $56.40 per hour.
