ABOUT THE JOB
As Group Director, Medical Strategy - SVP, you'll spearhead medical excellence, driving strategic insights and innovation across the agency. You will oversee medical content, team development, and client relationships, leveraging your deep knowledge of products, disease states, and industrycapabilities to elevate brand strategy and communication planning. By collaborating closely with executive leaders, you'll propel business development and departmental growth, fostering a culture of expertise and growth within the medical department.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Critically review cross-functional content, providing strategic medical recommendations.
Stay updated on industry trends to inform brand strategies.
Lead internal and external discussions, driving strategic objectives.
Identify and execute medical opportunities, enhancing strategic development.
Develop data-driven storytelling and best practices toolkits.
Foster positive client relationships, identifying new initiatives.
Contribute to pitch development, crafting medical insights.
Drive strategic recommendations and organic growth.
Mentor team members, guiding pitch presentations and growth opportunities.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry, anticipating trends and opportunities."
WHAT YOU NEED
Advanced degree (MS, MD, PhD, PharmD) in Clinical/Scientific field with 11+ years industry experience.
Excellent communication skills, conveying complex medical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
Proven management experience leading cross-functional teams and providing guidance and feedback.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, building open relationships.
Excellent leadership skills, instilling confidence and morale.
Strong financial accumen and ability to review staffing plans and utilization reports.
A keen interest in providing strategic thought leadership to drive growth and innovation.

Salary
$210,000 - $275,000
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
