Job Description A Day in the Life: Design and develop complex software systems, writing high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code that meets industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions, ensuring scalable and efficient back-end systems. Lead the development and maintenance of server-side code, including APIs, database integrations, and business logic, and troubleshoot issues with existing back-end systems. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members. Ensure technical solutions are well-documented and easy to understand, producing technical documentation, knowledge base artifacts, and user guides as needed. Apply software development methodologies and best practices to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems. What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, with 6+ years of experience designing and developing complex software systems. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in web development technologies, front-end languages, server-side languages, and database management systems. Expertise in software engineering best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and RESTful web services, with knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Expertise in troubleshooting and debugging complex software issues. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
